One Day Seminar – The Care Sector, Finally on the right path?
When: Thursday 1st May 2014
Where: etc. Venues, One Drummond Gate, Victoria, London
This year, due to its popularity, we expanded the HCMS Seminar to enable us to accommodate more delegates and held the event at etc. venues in Victoria, London.
The event was sponsored by Pinsent Masons, Christie & Co and BDO and was attended by a number of high profile figures from within the care home sector.
The keynote speakers were Andrea Sutcliffe from CQC, Joanne Ellis and Nick Gavin-Brown from Pinsent Masons, Richard Lunn and Mike Hodges from Christie’s, Paul Russell from BDO and Tony Stein, CEO of HCMS. The presentations were informative and covered a range of topics currently relevant to the sector.
The presentations were brought to a conclusion with a plenary session allowing attendees to raise their own questions to the speakers and allowed further discussion on a range of subjects including the particularly topical matter of the Panorama programme on abuse that had aired the night before.
Some of the delegate feedback received:
“Thanks for the great hospitality last Thursday – I thought the speakers and the topics discussed were spot on and look forward to the next seminar.”
“Just a note to say thank you to Tony and the team for a very enjoyable and informative day.”
“Many thanks also for an excellent seminar which was very informative & interesting”
“Thank you for what was a tremendously interesting day – very thought provoking.”
