Ensuring our Care Homes are COVID-19 Safe
At Healthcare Management Solutions we are using data-driven technology to protect our residents and team members and to make our care homes COVID-19 safe.
In these difficult times it is understandable that you may be worried about the safety of care homes. To give you peace of mind, we have implemented the COVID-19 Safe Programme at our care home.
This programme utilises our unique digital IMPaCT Audit tool and Care Portal reporting system to maintain the highest levels cleanliness and infection control. These systems work together to deliver a clear and objective view of every aspect of our care homes.
Using up-to-date information gathered within the care home, we can monitor the effectiveness of infection control procedures and regulatory compliance.
These systems have proved invaluable during the coronavirus pandemic. They have helped us establish stringent infection control procedures and allow us to monitor our drive to keep our care home free of COVID-19. Our supply of PPE has also been managed through these systems, maintaining a constant flow of the necessary items throughout the pandemic.
With routine testing for residents and staff now in place, the Care Portal system is able to log all test results. This has increased our ability to identify risks and react in a timely manner. With this new feature, we can safely accept new admissions and offer pre-booked safe outdoor visits at many of our care homes.
As you are aware, things can change quickly. This is why our COVID-19 Safe Programme includes daily monitoring of infection rates and public health data, as well as our own digital systems. If there is a rise in the infection rate in the local area, or if an outbreak is detected in the home, any existing visiting arrangements must be cancelled for the safety of all.
The COVID-19 Safe Programme has been created to ensure that our residents continue to be cared for and supported by our dedicated teams in a clean and safe environment.
